InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint | From 2022 to 2025, I’ve supported UC San Diego Commencement by streamlining the execution process—tracking signage, creating PowerPoint
templates for all schools, and managing content for 16 schools plus show slides. I’ve designed a wide range of event materials, including lollipops, A-frames, truss and stage banners, meter boards, and selfie stations. Challenges + Solutions:
With a project of this size, or a campaign, the greatest challenge is keeping everything organized. I employed a customized google sheet, folder system, editing pipeline, design file setup and communication schedule to maintain the output needed to design and print off 100+ signs every year. Along with the signage, I also created templates for the PowerPoint presentations of the actual ceremony. | I got to design the graduation ceremony while a friend graduated! That in itself was worth all the google sheet updates.
